Where to Watch Sports in Nashville

Nashville has its own melting pot of sports fans made up of college fans from all over the country, to NFL fanatics and even those who prefer English football. No matter what team you root for, there’s a sports bar for everyone. Our roundup features the city’s rowdiest sports bars so you won’t feel alone when the ref makes a bad call—or when your team scores!

Divided up by neighborhood, these are guaranteed to be the loudest sports bars for the most dedicated fans, and these bars all have amazing features fans will love, including TVs, beers on draft, and wings, burgers, pizza and more.

Third and Home

Dubbed “Germantown’s bar with a ballpark,” Third and Home overlooks First Horizon Park, home to Nashville’s minor league baseball team, Nashville Sounds. With more than 7,000 square feet, this spacious sports bar features 28+ flatscreen TVs, and they even list the channels they offer so you can ensure the big game is playing.

Jonathan’s Grille

This family-owned spot is well known for featuring fresh and delicious food that you won’t find at any other sports bar. The food menu is large too, featuring pizza, burgers, tacos, and more! Be sure to check out their beer list, which includes many local brews.

Crow’s Nest

This two story sports bar is a popular local spot with specials every day of the week! You won’t want to miss out on Monday’s Hot Chicken Night or Thursday’s $1 Wings Night. They’ve got drink specials too, including $1 off Hap & Harry’s all day on Sundays.

The Original Corner Pub

Not to be confused with Corner Pub in Downtown Nashville, The Original Corner Pub has been in business for about two decades. One of Nashville’s most beloved bars, this OG spot is cozy, warm and welcoming to every kind of sports fan.

Double Dogs

With tons of TVs and a projection wall, you’ll be able to catch the biggest game of the day, as well as every other game going on that day. Individual audio boxes are available for each table to listen to any TV so you don’t miss out on the excitement. Both their Sylvan Park location and their Hillsboro Village location have large patios available to bring the dog along too!

Neighbors

This neighborhood bar has a locals and laid back vibe. Serving up pub grub and happy hour specials daily, Neighbors is an ideal spot for watching the game while snagging a great deal too. Neighbors has been around for a long time in Sylvan Park, but just recently opened up a new sports bar in Germantown too.

DOWNTOWN

Amidst the honky tonks, you’ll find some of the coolest and most charismatic sports bars in the city. From long-time local favorites to new and swanky spots, Downtown Nashville has everything you need for game day.

Corner Pub

Downtown’s Corner Pub has been one of Nashville’s favorite sports bars since 2006. Less than two blocks away from Bridgestone Arena, you’ll be right near the action for the next Preds game!

Fleet Street Pub

This wonderfully British pub is owned by a Brit. It comes as no surprise that this is a favorite among European football fanatics. This underground watering hole serves British beers on draft, as well as local brews, and features Scotch Whisky. For those premier league fans, Fleet Street’s menu has the Liverpool Street Lamb Burger and the Arsenal Breakfast.

Downtown Sporting Club – The R.E.C. Room

On the second floor of Downtown Sporting Club, you’ll discover The R.E.C. Room. With unbeatable views of Broadway from your private booth with your own personal TV, it doesn’t get much more epic than this. The R.E.C. Room also has indoor stadium seating around an astroturf floor with cornhole and a huge TV if you’d rather mingle and chill during the game. From ring toss and shuffleboard to foosball and axe throwing, this is the place to be for an entertainment-packed day.

EAST NASHVILLE

East Nashville is like a whole new city with a whole different vibe. We dare say they’re hipsters, but when it comes to sports these bars are some of the most welcoming and down-to-earth spots to support your team.

The Mainstay

Just across the interstate from Nissan Stadium, The Mainstay has epic views of the Nashville skyline and features 23 TVs. What sets The Mainstay apart is its slightly more upscale bar menu. Be sure to try the Titan Up shot to get in the spirit!

Noble’s Kitchen & Beer Hall

We call Noble’s the “beer hall for all!” This is your go-to spot for enjoying a cold beer while catching the game on one of the many TVs. Their beer list includes sixty craft beers and more than sixty bottles and cans. Enjoy sliders, wings, and smoked meats in this family-friendly sports bar.

MIDTOWN

Less honky tonk per se, but just as fun and wild, Midtown is a sweet spot for bars, late night bites, and rowdy sports fans.

DawgHouse Saloon

DawgHouse Saloon calls itself “a music venue with a sports addiction.” Get the best of both worlds—live, local music and TVs with the game—especially great if you’re from out of town! The saloon also has a patio with a TV for those breezy, beautiful days.

Hopsmith Tavern

This multi-floor sports bar rocks an outdoor patio with TVs inside and out. Locals and tourists both come to Hopsmith for their famous foot-long grilled cheese, and of course for the beer. Some tables will even let you pour your own drafts!

Jasper’s

Deb Paquette, chef of Etch and etc., opened Jasper’s with a mission to create the “next evolution of the sports bar.” While this gastropub may be laid back, the menu features tempura cauliflower with pea pesto and feta cream, BBQ pork fries with ginger cream and pickled onions and buttermilk fried chicken with chili apple mayo. In other words, the menu does not disappoint. Jasper’s features video and table games to keep your party entertained at halftime too!

SOBRO

Downtown Nashville’s new and swanky SoBro neighborhood delights locals and visitors alike with some of the most hip bars and restaurants to watch the game and enjoy a delicious brew and bite.

City Tap House

Most well known for its 15-foot LCD video wall, City Tap House also features a variety of TVs and an outstanding craft beer list. This American pub and restaurant is based out of Philadelphia and serves up elevated pub classics. We highly recommend the Corn & Crab Hushpuppies or the City Tap Cubano. They’ve also got brick oven pizzas to feed a crowd!

6th & Peabody

At 6th & Peabody you get a little bit of everything—Ole Smoky Moonshine tasting room, multiple bars with YeeHaw on draft, food vendors like White Duck Taco Shop and Daddy’s Dogs, as well as a beer garden and adult playground. But most importantly, you’ve got enormous screens playing the biggest games.

Headquarters Beercade

The 200” HD projector screen will ensure you catch every moment of the game even while enjoying many of the amazing features Headquarters Beercade has to offer, including pinball and arcade games. The sports bar is home to thirty vintage arcade games for a truly nostalgic feel. Browse the draft list or opt for one of their specialty cocktails!

THE GULCH

This more cosmopolitan spot is swanky and eclectic, but that doesn’t mean The Gulch doesn’t have a good sports bar—after all, every neighborhood in Nashville does.

The Pub Nashville

This British-inspired pub is popular for featuring soccer (ahem, football) games. With English pale ales on draft and fish and chips, you’ll step right into England while watching your favorite team.

DONELSON

If you’re a local who doesn’t want to deal with tourists on game day, head to Donelson. While Donelson is most popular for Gaylord Opryland Resort, it’s also home to one of Nashville’s most beloved and authentic sports bars.

Scoreboard Bar & Grill

This old school restaurant and bar has been open since 1996. Best known for its Nashville hot chicken with heat levels like “Satan’s Tongue,” Scoreboard Bar & Grill also features a lengthy menu of burgers, wings, pizza, sandwiches, and barbecue.

BELLE MEADE

A quieter part of town, but not to be forgotten, Belle Meade is a mostly residential area that is also home to Cheekwood Botanical Gardens and Percy Warner Park. The greatest gem Belle Meade has to offer is one of the city’s favorite sports bars.

Sam’s Sports Grill

Some people say Sam’s has the best wings in town, but if you’re headed to this local favorite, we highly recommend checking out their slow cooked ribs and chicken too.

Okay Nashvillians, did we forget your favorite? Is there a hidden gem we don’t know about? Be sure to let us know where you go to watch the game!
