Dog-Friendly Patios in Nashville

Grab your pup and head to one of these dog-friendly patios in Nashville. These breweries and restaurants are some of Nashville’s best atmospheres for enjoying the dog days of summer. Casual, laid-back, and with great views. Enjoy!

Diskin Cider

Nashville’s first and only craft cidery is Wedgewood-Houston’s hippest hang. Their expansive patio features plenty of picnic tables, and even hammocks. They’ve got a fire pit for when the weather cools, too. With plenty of space for the pup, Diskin Cider is a friendly spot to come with a crowd.

It goes without saying that Diskin is home to a variety of delicious ciders, including their traditional dry English cider, Bob’s Your Uncle. In addition to a long list of ciders, Diskin serves up plenty of bar bites and brunch on the weekends.

The Optimist

The Optimist’s patio bar, dubbed Jacqueline, is a fun and wide open spot to play lawn games and sip shaved ice cocktails. With plenty of room for your pup to walk around and relax in both the sun and shade, Germantown’s Jacqueline is the perfect weekend spot for everyone. With beachy vibes, it’s as relaxing as summer in Nashville gets.

Enjoy a frosty beverage off the cocktail menu and a seafood snack, like oysters, tuna poke, or lobster roll sliders.

Sandbar

Nashville’s cutest container bar is home to one of the biggest and best patios. With barstools overlooking a volleyball court and cocktails poured into bags with straws, it doesn’t get much more picture perfect than this! Sandbar, located in West Nashville’s OneC1TY, is ideal for any dog who loves to socialize, as the patio is often crawling with plenty of paws.

Enjoy your tropical cocktail, or go sans alcohol and opt for sipping out of a fresh coconut!

Pins Mechanical Co.

While Pins Mechanical Co. does have a large and friendly lawn for pups to join their companions, this popular Gulch spot makes our list because they even let dogs inside too! This ultimate dog-friendly spot to bring your whole crew to bowl, play lawn games, try your luck with the arcades, or simply lounge in some comfy adirondack chairs.

With multiple bars throughout, Pins has you covered as far as beverages go, and they often have a food truck or two out front to keep your taste buds satisfied.

6th & Peabody

South Broadway’s 6th & Peabody is home to a brand new beer garden with Yee Haw Beer and Old Smoky Distillery. This large courtyard is a dog-welcome spot complete with picnic tables and a lawn made just for cornhole. The beer garden is also home to Prince’s Hot Chicken and White Duck Taco Shop.

Whether you’re coming to watch live music, enjoy a tasting, catch the game, or simply lounge in the sunshine with your beloved furry friend, 6th & Peabody is the place to be.

Von Elrod’s

Located just across the street from the Sounds’ stadium in Germantown, Von Elrod’s is a happy and festive place to grab a cold one and relax with your beloved pet. With 36 rotating taps, the beer list never disappoints. The menu features delicious smoked meats, housemade sausage and southern BBQ—it’s for humans, but your pup will love the scent!

Long family style tables are endless providing tons of room for you, your crew, and your four-legged friends.

12 South Taproom

A local favorite, 12 South Taproom (in the ever-so-popular 12 South neighborhood) is ideal on those especially hot days. With a covered and cool patio, 12 South Taproom is a spacious spot for you and your pup to enjoy people watching while catching a game on TV too.

With a lengthy list of beers on draft, the taproom is a great place to grab a pint and nosh on comfort foods like quesadillas, nachos, and loaded sammies.

Treat your dog to a day out this summer and hit up one—or all!—of these dog-friendly patios in Nashville.
